3rd Commandment Explained

"You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain"

Some take this to say you mustn't say things like "For G**s Sake", others that you mustn't blame God or curse HIM for things that have gone wrong in your life, and others take it to mean you mustn't swear at all. Maybe we shouldn't do any of these things?!

"for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain."

By doing/saying these things, HE is telling us here that you will be guilty and would suggest that you will be "Judged" on these actions.
